1500 - A Heavy Duty Single Cartridge Seal. This stationary designed seal is an amazingly versatile all-purpose seal that performs especially well in abrasive and light slurry applications. The 1500 is equipped with a catastrophic bushing in the gland, however it is also available in the 1500Q version which utilizes a quench containment seal when a liquid quench is required. Both 1500 versions are available to fit both standard and enlarged bore stuffing boxes, with several face combinations and elastomers to choose from. |
